The following information was created using GearCalc
Self Cancelling Indicators and New starting system
The switch between the temp and fuel gauges is to toggle between oil and water temp This is where the wheel plugs into (XLR Plug and socket)
The modified wheel with L & R buttons
Now fitted the R500
I used a box from Maplin and also added a 12V power socket
For those who keep asking the question - what fonts are used in the Superlight R see below SUPERLIGHT R Arial black and Rage Italic LET
The above pictures were a result of a poor method of attaching a number plate to painted surface. Why oh why did they just use sticky pads like everyone else?
Indicators - Updated
Since buying the car I have hated the side repeaters. Caterham must have been having a bad day when they decided to fit these:
They are from SVS and cost £14 for a pair. They use a double sided pad to fix to wing. (I have now found out that they are available from Motor World for £8!!!
I am sure you will agree that the finished look is 100% better
Since doing this I have discovered some even neater ones that I think are easier to fit and look better. Got them from a motor bike shop on Westgate Hill, Newcastle. Demon Bikes £15 which is nearly double but I think they are worth the extra. Only thing is because they are small they no not cover the original fixing holes but easily covered up
